The past 20 years have been the happiest and most fulfilling years of our lives.  The creation of Amparo de la Niñez has without a doubt presented us with many challenges.  Nonetheless, we held onto our faith and humbled ourselves in order to answer our calling from God.   As a result, we have built a successful organization that thrives on love, happiness, and faith.   Today we proudly say that we have a   tremendous amount of confidence and hope in our mission and in our programs and activities.

Each day we watch children grow and blossom into honest young men and women.  We also witness the coming together of families and communities in support of the children’s endeavors.  The positive   interactions and support that the children gain is indispensible to their futures and to the future of our community.

As we look forward to the next 20 years, we will continue to make love a priority for our children, opening up our arms, minds and hearts to them, so that they can do the same for future generations.  We also will continue to call on the community to help further our mission and vision of eliminating juvenile delinquency, poverty, violence, and drugs from our communities by replacing them with hope, love,      respect, and faith.  

We thank God and all those who have helped us achieve our organization’s vision of providing children a safe harbor.
